Concealing Evidences of the Structural Tamil Genocide.

Mrs Sirimavo Bandaranaike – Prime Minister  Since 1970 – Until 1977

In Sri Lanka what happened in 1977 amounts to genocide.  During the parliamentary elections held in 1977, Tamils Liberation Organisation gained a sweeping majority, using the demand for a separate Tamil Eelam as the main proposal in their manifesto. Immediately after that, violent attacks took place all over the islands outside the Tamil areas. Tamils were attacked in areas including Anuradapura and Colombo.

After a governmental inquiry, it was announced that about 300 Tamils were killed. However other sources informed that the true figures have been many fold more.

Thousands have been evacuated from their homes. These riots were organised under the leadership of Sirimavo Bandaranaike and the support of the SL government. Mr.William Gopalava was the President of SL during this period.

The 4th International Tamil Conference took place in Jaffna during January 1974. On the last day of the conference, 10.01.1974, nine Tamil civilians died due to various commotions caused by many reasons including the shooting by the police.

which caused the snapping of the electric overhead cables. Thousands of civilians, including women and children, were dispersed using tear gas .The deaths were caused by all these multiple factors. These deaths contributed to the enticement of Tamil nationalism.

Sirimavo Bandaranaike had been the cause of all these murders.
